Disc golf is similar to classic golf, except that special Frisbee discs are thrown into metal baskets. The aim is to complete the course with as few throws as possible. Play always continues from the spot where the disc landed.

The adh Open is beginner-friendly: disc golf is easy to learn and offers an exciting mix of technique, precision and nature.

On Saturday, the tournament will start with a short introduction for beginners, before team spirit and tactics are called for in the doubles competition. In the evening, there will be a barbecue in a relaxed atmosphere.

On Sunday, the singles competition will be held in two rounds. The title of the adh Open will be decided in two exciting rounds!

All participants have the opportunity to stay overnight in the sports hall of the Technical University of Darmstadt and book breakfast or lunch.

Current students, graduates from the 2024/25 academic year and university staff are eligible to play.
