2G-rules for all Indoor sports activities!!

Dear participant:s at Unisport,

for Hessen a new Corona protection regulation came into force on 11/25/2021. Therefore, from now on the 2G rule applies to all indoor presence courses!

You can find an overview of the current corona rules in Hessen on the web pages of the state of Hessen.

This means: all TU-members and students of the Darmstadt universities are obliged to prove that they are vaccinated or recovered when entering the gyms/swimming pools. The proofs will be checked at the entrance as before.

Individuals who do not have appropriate proof of full immunization coverage or a current recovery certificate will not be allowed to enter the gymnasiums or participate in indoor varsity sports.

Exceptions are made for individuals who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons (with a valid certificate and proof of PCR testing) and children and youth under the age of 18 with a student test booklet.

The obligation to wear a mask and the compliance with the distance and hygiene rules remain unaffected and of course still apply! We therefore ask you to observe our current rules beyond this:

• Keep your distance to other people! This applies to the check-in in the entrance and waiting area of the sports hall, on the way to the changing rooms and courses as well as to the courses themselves!
• Follow the hygiene rules (cough/sneeze in the crook of your elbow, wash your hands)!
• (Everyday) medical mask is compulsory in the entire sports hall, including the paths and changing rooms as well as in courses, if the necessary distance is not kept!
• The distance markings – especially at check-in – must be observed!
• Arrive on time to the course! I.e. approx. 20 min. before to max. 5 min. after the start of the course (outside these times there is no right to admission!).
• Admission is only possible with a valid 2G ID/photo ID and ticket.
• Use all available changing rooms! There can be max. 4 persons per changing room at the same time! You can avoid queues and allow as many people as possible to use the changing rooms by not staying longer than necessary in the changing rooms!
• The showers in the sports halls remain closed!
• The sports facilities are to be left quickly, at the latest 15 min. after the end of the course, in order to avoid queues and delays in the course operation.
