The University Sports Centre has been hit by significant funding cuts resulting from political decisions made under the Hessian Higher Education Pact 2026–2031, which affect all universities in Hesse.

Due to the current financial circumstances, further measures are now necessary, and we would like to inform you about them here.

In order to continue offering university sports at the usual standard, we have unfortunately had to adjust the fee structure.

In addition to the Sports Pass already introduced, courses that were previously free of charge will now also incur participation fees.

These decisions were not easy for us to make, but they are necessary to ensure that university sports can continue to be offered.

Our aim remains to continue providing all participants with a diverse, attractive and high-quality range of sports activities.
